Sizzling runs on the water from two Kiwi paddlers to a men's sprint race being called one of the best ever - it was another unforgettable day at the Games.
The 100m men's sprint is always one of the most highly anticipated events and this one didn't disappoint.
It took a photo to decide US favourite Noah Lyles had pipped Jamaica's Kishane Thompson by five-thousandths of a second.
Two of sport's biggest names - golfer Scottie Scheffler and Serbia Novak Djokovic stood atop the dais in Paris also.
Meanwhile, New Zealand's Luuka Jones and Finn Butcher both impressed by winning their heats to advance to the quarterfinals tonight while sailors Micah Wilkinson and Erica Dawson are second overall in the mixed multihull event.
