Vietnam has been celebrated as a success story of the pandemic, recording just over 400 cases and no deaths in a country of 95 million.

After almost 100 days since its last locally transmitted case, the country now has fifteen new cases of Covid-19 in the city of Da Nang.

Vietnam has closed Da Nang to tourists and up to 80,000 visitors are being evacuated from the city.
