Serial litigant Graham McCready has laid an official complaint with police accusing Auckland Mayor Len Brown of money laundering.
Two Auckland women filed the complaint on behalf of the former Wellington accountant during a meeting with police. It claims Mr Brown and staff at SkyCity were involved in a money laundering scheme.
The complaint refers to gifts from SkyCity which it says Mr Brown failed to declare during his two-year extra-marital affair with Bevan Chuang.
The Auckland District Court threw out an earlier attempt by Mr McCready to carry out a private corruption prosecution because he had not sought leave from the Attorney-General.
Mr McCready said Tuesday's complaint asks police to investigate the money laundering claims, along with the other allegations of corruption.
