A global airline survey ranks Air Tahiti Nui top in the Pacific region, with Samoa's Polynesian Airlines in second place.
New Caledonia's Aircalin was placed third.
The Skytrac Airline of the Year 2004 collected data (day-ta) from over 90 travellers of different nationalities, over a 10 month period.
The data was collected from online customer surveys, corporate travel questionnaires and consumer telephone interviews.
For Australasia, Qantas was ranked first, followed by Air New Zealand and Virgin Blue was third.
