American basketballer Kobe Bryant made amends for a poor shooting game by scoring a game-winning jump-shot to secure the Los Angeles Lakers a 90-89 away win over the Boston Celtics.
Bryant finished the match with 19 points despite scoring off just eight of his 20 attempts and Andrew Bynum added 19 to guide Los Angeles to its fourth straight win.
The Celtics had overcome and early deficit to lead by 11 with less than nine minutes remaining, but the home team found it difficult to score in the final minutes and suffered their sixth loss in eight matches.
