A strike by some staff at the Intercontinental Hotel in Tahiti has been settled.
Action was taken three days ago when six unions jointly announced strikes at the chain's four hotels in French Polynesia.
However, not all union members in Tahiti followed the call, while at two hotels there was no action.
A strike relaunched at the Intercontinental in Moorea 10 days ago continues.
The aim is to win the reinstatement of four employees who were dismissed in August after a female employee alleged they had raped her months earlier.
However, a police investigation has since established no wrongdoing and the case has been closed.
The hotel is refusing to re-employ them, and the unions say their dismissal is unacceptable.
An earlier 45-day strike over the dismissal of the four reportedly incurred the Intercontinental Moorea losses of $US2 million.
