A new-look Maori Affairs Select Select Committee is preparing to review three Treaty bills.
MPs would examine proposed settlement legislation for Ngati Kuri, Te Aupouri, Ngai Takoto, Te Rarawa, and Te Kawerau ā Maki.
They would also scrutinise the Hawke's Bay Regional Planning Committee Bill, which is designed to create a law to ensure iwi or hapu groups are included in the regional council's planning decisions.
The MPs want submissions on the bills by 17 December.
Following the general election in September, the committee has a new chair, National's Tutehounuku Korako, and new members including Pita Paraone from New Zealand First.
