Legal action in Samoa against switching road sides to be filed soon

14:03 pm on 11 February 2008

Three leading Samoa lawyers will file a legal action this week on behalf of the People Against Switching Sides, or PASS, following the government's move to have the country drive on the left instead of the right hand side of the road.

The chairman of PASS, Tole'afoa Solomona To'ailoa, says he and other two lawyers worked through the weekend to finalise legal documents.

He says they will seek to have a judicial review of the proposed Road Traffic bill.
