The Treasury says eligible depositors in failed finance firm Viaduct Capital are covered under the Government's retail deposit guarantee scheme.
Viaduct Capital's trustee appointed receivers to the company, triggering the guarantee.
Not all deposits are covered however, as the Government removed Viaduct from the scheme last April on concerns the benefit of it may go to people who are not supposed to get it.
Viaduct has about $7.8 million held by around 110 depositors.
