A jury in the trial of the police killer Eli Epiha will return to the High Court in Auckland tomorrow to continue considering its verdict.
Epiha shot two officers in Auckland last year, killing Matthew Hunt, after fleeing a routine traffic stop and crashing.
He admits the murder of officer Hunt but denies the attempted murder of officer David Goldfinch.
The accused getaway driver, Natalie Bracken, denies being an accessory after the fact of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The judge delivered closing statements this morning and the jury sought more information during its deliberations.
The jury has now retired for the day without reaching a verdict.
