A person was taken to Dunedin Hospital with moderate injuries after a truck crashed in the Octagon in Dunedin.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 7.30am on Saturday where a Pioneer Energy truck crashed into the fencing around a pedestrian path.
The truck was carrying wood chips that had scattered onto the road.
The area is closed off to motorists.
Pioneer Energy acting chief executive Jonothan West said a contractor was driving the vehicle and WorkSafe had been notified.
