A Lincoln University student has died in their halls of residence in Canterbury.

A police spokesperson said a woman was found dead at an address on Ellesmere Junction Road yesterday evening.
The death is not considered suspicious and will be referred to the coroner, the spokesperson said.
Lincoln University vice chancellor Grant Edwards said the university was deeply saddened by the unexpected death and was working closely with the family.
The student and staff communities were also being offered support, Edwards said.
