Police searching for missing woman Jude Coxhead have spoken with a couple in the area of a carpark where her vehicle was found.
The 62-year-old was last seen by family in Tauranga on Saturday, 12 August, and she was reported missing the next day.
Her gold-coloured Nissan Tiida (registration FLM444) was found on Monday at the Wairere Falls carpark, near Matamata.
Police on Monday appealed for anyone at the carpark to contact them, including a couple pictured in the area at the time.
In a statement on Tuesday, police said they had spoken to the couple, who had assisted with their inquiries, and continued to ask anyone with information to come forward.
Land Search and Rescue, the Department of Conservation, Fire and Emergency NZ, the Rapid Relief team and local iwi were helping police in the search on Tuesday.
Police said they and Coxhead's family had concerns for her welfare.
