The Indonesian President Joko Widodo arrives in New Zealand today for a brief visit following the meeting with ASEAN leaders in Sydney.
Mr Widodo will be in New Zealand for just a day.
He will meet the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern who said they will discuss trade and other issues of common interest.
Indonesia has the world's fourth largest population and is the world's third largest democracy.
It is the largest economy in ASEAN and has trade with New Zealand worth $1.8 billion.
