Pulse beat Tactix

12:09 pm on 4 June 2013

The Central Pulse have kept their trans-Tasman netball playoff hopes alive with a 62-45 victory over the Canterbury Tactix in Christchurch.

Their third straight victory has moved the Pulse up to fifth on 12 points, the same as the fourth-placed Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic.

Accuracy in the shooting circle proved the big difference between the two teams with both Tactix goal scorers struggling to find their radar over the long reach of Pulse captain Katrina Grant and Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit.

There are three rounds remaining with the Pulse having a bye next weekend.

The Tactix remain second from bottom with just four points from two victories.
