A truck ploughed into a crowd gathered in Los Angeles to show support for Iranian protesters, the KNBC news outlet reported.
The outlet reported that hundreds of people marched in Westwood, a Los Angeles suburb. It was not clear if there were any injuries.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said two people had been evaluated at the scene but did not want treatment or transport to a medical centre.
It said firefighters and paramedics were responding to reports of a third person in the general area needing help.
Due to the size of the crowd it said there were delays in making contact with the third person.
