The New Zealand Women's hockey team had an emphatic 5-1 win over Korea, in the fourth match of a five match series, in Pakuranga last night.

The Black Sticks had already won their series against Korea in the third test.

Black sticks coach Mark Hager says it was one of the better games they have played in a long time and they were clinical with their passes.

Inspirational captain Kayla Sharland came back from injury and brought composure to the team and led the way scoring in the 13th minute.

They play their final game in the series tonight.

Earlier in the evening the Black Sticks Men lost their first hockey test against Korea 3-2.

Richard Petherick and captain Shea McAleese scored for New Zealand.
