The Ministry of Health said the person travelled on Virgin Airlines flight VA46 from Bali to Brisbane, then onto Wellington on flight VA104, arriving on 24 July.

It said the person also spent time in the transit lounge in Brisbane between flights.

Any passengers on board those flights who feel unwell are being urged to call their GP or Healthline for advice.
