Warriors owner Eric Watson says he is in "no rush" to sell the NRL club, despite reports suggesting a deal with Auckland businessman Paul Davys is close.

Davys is reportedly negotiating with Watson for the perenially under-performing Warriors, and that only the finer details were left to resolve.
Local media suggest Davys hoped to make an announcement within a week, at which point he would take over from Watson.
However the UK-based Watson, who has owned the club since 2000, appeared to put the brakes on a potential sale.
"While I'm often approached about selling the club, I will confirm that I'm in conversation with a few different parties," said Watson in a statement.
"I'm in no rush and I'm keen to do what's best for the club."
Watson added that he would make no further comment on the terms of the potential sale, saying it was a private matter.
The Warriors are one of only two NRL clubs to have never won a premiership - along with Gold Coast - and have failed to live up to their potential recently, missing the finals for six consecutive seasons.
