Police have released the name of a toddler who died with critical injuries after being taken to hospital from a house in Weymouth on Sunday.
The toddler was Arapera Fia, aged 2.
Police said the child was taken to Starship hospital, and the death was being investigated as suspicious.
"The post-mortem examination confirmed the toddler had multiple serious injuries which are believed to be non-accidental," Detective Inspector Warrick Adkin said.
"Enquiries at the Weymouth address are continuing and the occupants are currently co-operating."
They said the investigation was in its early stages.
