One person is in hospital after what is believed to be a gang-linked firearms incident in the Auckland suburb of Mount Roskill last night.

Police received reports shortly before 9pm of shots being fired towards a house in Morrie Laing Avenue.
A person was taken to hospital and remains in a serious but stable condition.
In a statement, Detective Senior Sergeant Phil Cox said a vehicle was seen speeding off immediately after the shooting.
He said police believe there could be gang links, and a scene examination is continuing at the property.
Police are seeking sightings or any information which may help the investigation.
