Mystics steal crucial netball win

07:29 am on 29 April 2014

The Northern Mystics have kept their trans-Tasman netball championship season alive with a thrilling come from behind one point victory over the Mainland Tactix in Christchurch.

The hosts, buoyed by a record home crowd of over 4800, looked to have scored sweet revenge over their perennial rivals the Mystics, who snatched a three-goal win from the Tactix only two rounds ago.

But in an action-packed final 10 seconds, the Mystics came from a goal down to win 61-60 and climb to within two points of the top four.

The loss leaves the Tactix firmly rooted to the bottom of the table.
