Some rugby fans have reacted angrily to Sky TV running an advertisement during live coverage of the third test between the All Blacks and France.
The advertisement was broadcast midway through the first half of the match that saw the All Blacks defeat France 24-9 at Yarrow Stadium in New Plymouth on Saturday.
While it was shown viewers missed seeing a line-out 10 metres from the French goal line and an infringement that led to an All Black equalising penalty.
Several fans immediately took to Twitter to express their annoyance.
The broadcaster said the item was a promo which was played by mistake and apologised, promising to investigate the incident.
Sky TV said the international broadcast was unaffected.
