A roadworker who was critically injured after being hit by a truck in the Auckland suburb of Remuera has died in Auckland Hospital, police say.
The incident happened around 10.18pm on Wednesday on Victoria Avenue.
The man was transported to hospital in a critical condition and on Friday he died from his injuries.
Police said the crash remained under investigation, and that an examination of the truck would be part of their enquiries.
