Police investigating the violent death of a Wellington grandmother last week say they are following "strong lines of enquiry".
The body of 79-year-old Helen Gregory was found at her Khandallah home on 24 January.
A police spokesperson said the scene examination would be completed over the next couple of days.
She said the investigation was making good progress and there was a positive response from the community.
