It is being reported that the WBA has ordered a panel of judges to review last week's contest between WBA heavyweight champion Nicolay Valuev and Evander Holyfield, for the WBA Heavyweight title.
FightNews is reporting that the WBA is taking this action due to the respect for the opinion of the fans and the media.
Valuev retained his title with a majority decision over legendary ex-champion Holyfield with the scores 114-114, 115-114, and 116-112.
After the decision was announced, Holyfield received applause from the Swiss crowd, while Valuev was notably booed.
The WBA Championship Committee will issue a decision in the following weeks.
