Authorities in the Micronesian state of Yap have arrested multiple suspects in connection with the killing of the acting Attorney General.
Governor Henry Falan said the suspects, who were not named, would appear in court charged with the murder of Rachelle Bergeron.
The US citizen was shot dead outside her home earlier this month in a rare act of violence for the small island state.
Police have said Ms Bergeron was killed by a single suspected shooter.
Ms Bergeron first arrived in Yap from the US in 2015, taking up the position of assistant attorney general before being promoted to acting attorney general in January.
