In brief: Remains thought to be more than a century old have been uncovered at a building development north of Auckland.
Archaeologists found a skeleton at The Anchorage at Gulf Harbour, a site already identified as being of historical significance.
Police say the site was closed down last night and local iwi have been told of the find.
