The South African Graham Ford has admitted that he will be interviewed in the next couple of days for the post of New Zealand cricket coach.
Ford, who is Kent's director of cricket, had previously denied reports linking him with the role, but says he's been offered an interview by New Zealand Cricket.
The interview, which will be conducted over the telephone, will involve another former Kent coach, John Wright, as well as other members of the NZC board.
Ford, who coached South Africa from 1999 to 2002, is believed to be on a short-list of about 6 New Zealand Cricket is interviewing for the post which will be vacated by John Bracewell early next year.
