Former New Zealand cricket captain Brendon McCullum has announced his retirement from playing cricket.
McCullum will end his career after the current Global T20 Canada tournament and he intends to go into coaching.
The 37-year-old retired from the international game in early 2016 having played 101 Tests, 260 ODIs and 71 T20 internationals.
McCullum has been an in-demand T20 cricketer since his international retirement, with stints in the IPL with Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash, Lahore Qalandars in the PSL and Trinbago Knight Riders in the CPL.
McCullum averaged 38.64 in Tests with a highest score of 302, he averaged 30.41 in ODIs with a highest score of 166 and averaged 35.66 in T20s with a highest score of 123.
