The American Samoa Governor, Togiola Tulafono, has announced plans for the construction of a Territorial Marine Science Centre.
He says the centre would have multiple purposes, including promoting marine research, education and public awareness.
Togiola says as governor he is committed to supporting environmental stewardship and marine conservation.
