Legendary hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan are heading to New Zealand next year as part of the line-up for Raggamuffin festival.

Posters went up around Auckland over a week ago, sparking rumours the group would be heading our way. Today organisers have confirmed that the Staten-Island crew will join other big-name rap acts The Game, Xzibit and House Of Pain when they touch down in the country for the event on Saturday February 20 at Trusts Arena.

If you’ve ever seen the Rock The Bells documentary, which details what it’s like to try and get the influential group together again, you’ll know just how memorable this one will be.

Though many of the members – including Ghostface Killah, RZA and Raekwon – have performed in New Zealand previously as part of their solo tours, it’ll be the first time they’ve all made it down this way together.
