Two men have been charged with the murder of Lower Hutt man Alonsio lafeta Matalasi.
The 25-year-old was found shot dead in his Jackson Street flat in Petone in August this year.
Shane Harrison, 43, and Dillin Pakai, 19, appeared in the Hutt Valley District Court on Friday morning and were also charged with the reckless discharge of a weapon.
The men have been remanded in custody and will appear in the High Court in December.
