A young woman has appeared in court charged with murder after the death of a 21-year-old man in Auckland over the weekend.

Police said his body was found at a house on Dominion Road in Mount Eden in the early hours of Saturday morning.
An 18-year-old woman appeared in the Auckland District Court today.
Judge Ajit Singh granted her interim name suppression and remanded her in custody without plea until she reappears in the High Court at Auckland next month.
The woman was tearful at times and was supported by family members who called out "love you" as she left the dock.
