A large group of volunteers has been sworn in to work for the Samoa Victims Support Group, ahead of a global conference in Apia this week.
Talamua Online reports the 29 volunteers were sworn in by Justice Vui Clarence Nelson at the Supreme Court late last week.
The volunteers took oaths to preserve information they come across in their work.
The group includes former heads of government ministries, church ministers, business people and the wider community, from Samoa as well as Australia and New Zealand.
The Samoa Victims Support Group helps women and family members that have suffered from domestic violence, as well as orphaned children.
