American Samoa's governor Lolo Matalasi Moliga has called a special session of the Fono to change local banking laws and to consider a new High Court judge.
Lolo said the special session would be convened from next Monday.
The first item on the agenda is amending laws which established the government owned Territorial Bank of American Samoa.
The commercial bank, which opened for business in October 2016, is having difficulties dealing with US regulators, who are concerned with the government's involvement in the bank.
The second item on the agenda is the nomination and confirmation of senator, Paepae Iosefa Fai'ai as an Associate Judge of the High Court.
