Police have charged a 30-year-old man with the murder of Lake Takimoana in Nelson.
Takimoana, 22, died after being shot on 22 February at a Washington Road property.
Last night police arrested a man and charged him with murder, Detective Inspector Mark Chenery said.
He is due to appear in Nelson District Court today.
A 24-year-old man had previously been arrested for being party to murder.
Chenery says enquiries into the incident are ongoing and police would still like to hear from anyone who may know the whereabouts of a vehicle with a distinctive flat deck.
