A police officer has been charged with indecently assaulting another officer.

Police arrested the 28-year-old male officer after a complaint about two incidents in the early hours of 5 February.
The officer appeared in the Auckland District Court this afternoon charged with indecent assault and sexual violation.
Police said he had been stood down and a separate employment investigation would be carried out.
