A hurricane in the United States has helped New Zealand golfers Tim Wilkinson and Steven Alker secure their US PGA Tour cards for another year.
The final tournament on the second tier web.com tour at Atlantic Beach Country Club was cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew.
The top 25 players on the tour graduate to the PGA tour.
Wilkinson was sitting in the nervous 25th and final position and the cancellation of the tournament meant he managed to sneak in on the money list by a mere $550.
Hamilton's Steven Alker had a more comfortable time as he was already sitting in 14th position.
The pair will will join the country's number one, Danny Lee on tour next season.
