The General Manager of the Samoa Rugby Union's High Performance Unit, Zane Hilton, has resigned.
Mr Hilton's resignation is effective immediately and came in a letter addressed to the CEO, Faleomavaega Vincent Fepulea'i, this week.
In his letter, Mr Hilton wished the Samoa Rugby Union, and the Manu Samoa team in particular, all the best for the upcoming Rugby World Cup in Japan.
He said it was an honour to work with the team.
Faleomavaega said Mr Hilton resigned because he found employment in a coaching capacity.
He said the SRU and World Rugby is working in close partnership and are now in the process of reviewing the management needs of the programme and the campaign.
"...To ensure we can collectively maintain the good momentum generated from the hard work of Zane Hilton..."
Mr Hilton has not given a reason for resigning and has conceded there would be some disappointment.
