Russian President Vladimir Putin says there are good opportunities to cooperate with Palau in tourism.

At a reception for newly-arrived foreign ambassadors to Russia last week, Mr Putin welcomed Palau's representative, Francis Matsutaro.
Mr Putin said a visa-free travel agreement signed last month between Palau and Russia would help cooperation.
He said the two countries could work together in aviation and naval communications.
