Household borrowing nudged higher in June as demand for housing loans offset a fall in consumer financing.
Reserve Bank figures show total household borrowing rose a seasonally adjusted 0.2% to $180 billion from the previous month.
The annual rate of increase was 2.5%, the lowest annual growth rate since September last year.
Housing-related borrowing rose 2.8% from a year earlier, while consumer borrowing fell 1.9%.
