Pakistan cricket star Fatima Sana will extend her stay in New Zealand after signing with the Canterbury Magicians in the Super Smash.
The dynamic fast bowler will join the Magicians for the first six rounds of the T20 competition.
In the recently completed victorious T20 series against the White Ferns, Fatima was instrumental to the team's success with two 3-wicket bags in the first two games at five runs per over. She then followed this up with an unbeaten 90 when captaining Pakistan in the 2nd ODI at Hagley Oval.
Canterbury Magicians head coach Rhys Morgan was delighted to welcome her to the side.
"Her international experience and record make her a valuable addition to our squad. We believe her presence will not only enhance the team's performance but also contribute to the interest in this year's Dream 11 Super Smash."
Fatima Sana was equally thrilled about her new venture.
"Joining the Canterbury Magicians is a fantastic opportunity, and I am eager to contribute my best to the team's success. The Dream11 Super Smash is known for its competitive nature, and I am looking forward to the challenges while learning from and sharing my experiences with my new teammates."
