Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will meet with Groundswell protest leaders after previously declining their requests to speak to her.
The group organised protests around the country last year against environmental regulations, the 'ute tax' and a seasonal worker shortage.
The demonstrations caused widespread disruption nationwide.
Ardern has twice declined protest organisers' requests for a meeting.
A spokesperson for Ardern has confirmed she will meet with protest organisers, who were contacted about the development earlier this week.
A date for the meeting has not yet been set.
The spokesperson said the meeting will be held with other farming leaders.
