One arrest, three vehicles recovered after Auckland ram raids

One person is facing charges after a series of ram raid incidents in Auckland overnight.

The incidents occurred in Flat Bush, Drury and Paerata between 11.50pm and 1am.

Some of the stolen property has also been recovered, including three vehicles.

Detective Inspector Karen Bright, of the Counties Manukau CIB, said police are also making inquiries into a fourth incident that occurred at a petrol station in Pakuranga.

The arrested person will appear in the Youth Court on burglary, dishonesty offending and driving charges.

Bright said more charges may be laid.
