Plight of detained children on Nauru desperate - World Vision

05:04 am on 21 August 2018

World Vision says life for the almost 120 children detained on Nauru is becoming increasingly desperate.

The charity's national director, Grant Bayldon, says Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern should offer to immediately resettle all those children and their families.

The Government will be represented next month at the Pacific Island Forum in Nauru, where hundreds of refugees are still being held in detention centres.

Grant Bayldon told our Deputy Political Editor, Chris Bramwell, that the children on the island are in great need.
