We’re joined on Culture 101 by three poets and artists from Pōneke and Kāpiti Coast who are part of a collective known as the Meow Gurrls.
They’ve just launched their latest publication Famdamily.
The group is named in part after Meow café and bar in Wellington, also an important music venue in the city.
The group gather there to write, read and discuss poetry, sharing words, wine, food and fine company.
