The Northern Marianas island of Tinian is looking to improve its transportation services in the lead up to an expected tourism boom following the construction of two casino resorts.
The Tinian mayor Joey San Nicolas said expanded services would include bringing back a regular ferry service from Saipan.
He said it would also include asking car rental companies to expand their fleets.
Alter City Group is planning on building a US$1.2 billion dollar golf and casino resort and Bridge Investment is developing an 1,800 square metres site into the Tinian Ocean View Resort.
