A man accused of murdering another man in Onerahi last month has pleaded not guilty.
Whangārei fisherman Ike Wellington Kingi, is accused of killing 56-year-old Bob Kleiman, who was found dead at a house two weeks ago.
Police were called to the residential property at around 3pm on Thursday, 27 October.
The 42-year-old defendant appeared in the High Court today, and no longer has name suppression.
Kingi will next appear in February, and his trial has been scheduled for three weeks, in June 2024.
