Boxing - Heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker has pulled the pin on his planned fight against Englishman Dereck Chisora in London in April, frustrated at the failure to confirm the fight.
Parker's promoter David Higgins has failed to received a contract confirming the April 21st fight and says time has run out for Parker to complete a minimum nine-week training camp that he would need.
Parker's last fight in London was in July last year where he lost to Dillian Whyte after a seven-week camp and Higgins doesn't want to make the same mistake again.
Earlier this month British promoter Eddie Hearn had said he was trying to arrange a heavyweight clash between Parker and Chisora.
Nonu left out of Blues
Former All Black Ma'a Nonu has been left of the Blues squad altogether for their match against Sharks in Durban on Sunday morning.
Nonu has been replaced in the midfield by Sonny Bill Williams, after playing his first Super rugby match in four years in the side's narrow loss to the Crusaders in the opening round.
Meanwhile the All Blacks hooker Dane Coles will gets his first start for the Hurricanes since 2017 having been named in the playing fifteen for Saturday's match against the Crusaders in Christchurch.
Concussion and injury have seriously limited Coles playing time over the past couple of seasons.
White Ferns to unleash cricket teen prodigy at WACA
She's already got a double century to her name, but 18-year-old Kiwi star Amelia Kerr doesn't feel like she deserves to be labelled an allrounder just yet.
Kerr was just 17 years and 243 days old when she struck an unbeaten 232 off 145 balls in an ODI women's match against Ireland last June.
That knock saw her become the youngest ever player - male or female - to strike a double century in international cricket.
But the talented leg spinner won't consider herself an allrounder until she becomes more consistent with the bat.
In 15 knocks in ODI cricket, Kerr has just two scores of note - the unbeaten 232, and an unbeaten 81.
Her 13 other scores are all under 31, with seven of those in single figures.
Kerr looms as a danger player for Australia ahead of the three-match ODI series, starting at the WACA Ground on Friday.
